Enter the Scribbleverse Live
On June 26th, we premiered the Scribbleverse documentary for the second time—this time with the generous support of The Charlotte Street Foundation. When they offered us the chance to screen it again in their black box theatre, director Kyle Dykes and I knew we wanted to do more than simply replay the film. That’s how Enter the Scribbleverse was born.
We transformed the evening into a full animated and musical experience, reimagining the music from the film, adding new compositions, and bringing it all to life with live performances. The film became one part of a larger, immersive show. I designed a stage inspired by the storytelling elements that fuel my creativity—especially animation—while Kyle expanded the music and layered in new animated sequences.
The night was truly special, and the response was overwhelming. Huge thanks to Kyle Dykes of Spacesuit Productions for his incredible work, to Chromadadata, Ubi, and Aaron Alexander for the unforgettable music, and to Sceanario for setting the perfect atmosphere with expert lighting design. My hope is that this is just the beginning of even more inspiring collaborations.
