"These Are The Days" is a four-part mural installed on Green Street in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. It was an honor to tell a story through snapshots in time, capturing the growth and evolution of the town over the years.

As you move from left to right, the mural begins in the late 1800s and early 1900s, gradually progressing through different eras as the landscape shifts and grows around a cast of animals dressed in clothing inspired by each time period. Each panel reflects the changing character of the town while keeping a playful and imaginative spirit throughout.

The final panel jumps into a Jetsons-inspired future — a lighthearted vision of what a community rooted in farming and railroads might look like in the years ahead.

Thank you to the City of Lee’s Summit for trusting me to tell this story in my own way.
